Desc: Iravu Pookkal: With Anuradha, Kamala Kamesh, Y.G. Mahendran, Nalini. A thriller. Jeevitha , an innocent flower girl is kidnapped and forced into prostitution by a ring run by Prameela and Nambiar . They also have Ravi on their pay roll who films and black mails people for money . YG Mahendran brings his nephew ( deaf and dumb ) to Jeevitha . He ends up falling in love with her and they get married on the sly . In some foncusion, he is accused of stabbing Jeevita and sent to jail. Satyaraj is a police man who is investigating this case . Nalini is a deaf lawyer who helps Satyaraj . Over all a fine thriller . Ravi and Anuradha plan to sell those films and escape abroad . Anuradha is perfect as a bar dancer. She has a great figure and shows it offi n each frame . Nambiar is as usual super as the kingpin of this gang . In the end ,Jeevita comes out of the hospital and reveals the real culprit . They both unite in the final scene. it shows that even prosititutes have affectiosn and emotions . It has some fine tender hummable songs .The Bengali actor shows his feeling without speaking a single word . Prameela has an angelic face as a brothel keeper. YG Mahendran lights up the screen in his small role as a frequent visitor to those rooms.
